My dream for EVH gear

I wish Ed had his guitars available in different woods, mot just basswood. I wish his mahogany model came with a floyd version, I wish Ed develops dual channel wicked hard wired amp which is mean 68-69 or 79 jmp and flick a switch for fender deluxe, which is what Ed uses backstage to warm up or a bandmaster if the delux isnt possible, tube powered fx loop with selectable option as a extra gain stage if opted for, HIGH quality eq controls with a nleed thru type loudness one and two as in the plexi models and a options to select 90v and half power. This IS would be THE amp to have! Modern flexibility, fx loop, extra gain stage for jubliee or dsl type tones, maybe an added modern contour dial for higher gain use of the extra tube and modern mid scooped American metal,so long as this extra mjd eq never messed the circuit perbaps only allowable as a seperate circuit once fx loop circuit selector was closed and thereby using the tube as an xtra gain stage. Ypu' have 67-69plexi tones, to jmp late 70s tones to Jcm jubilee, to dsl tones all without the shitty-ness associated with true two channel amps as in lead & rhythm channel amps or clean channel added for 3 channels! Here it is still really the same channel, just use of another tube if selected, different power selections amd a contour mid control added.

The other channel maybe faked, as a fender side of things using the same component rerouted for fender type soind within the Marshall based amp-which is reverse of course-that mrshall amps are Fender bassmans with el34 originally instead of 6v6, it could kinda work. If not the amp would need at least 2 6v6 power tube with its dedicated circuit.

Hard wired, probably would be 4000usd, but Fender wojld continue making them per orxer for manyany years for pros

You didn't try or like the 5153?? Thats what he pretty much was tryin to do in that amp. Bassman/JTM, plex, SLO.
Hear all those tones he gets on the new release? Its all without a doubt easy as hell to get all that outta mine.
The Head does better metal than what he does on the record even, especially if you use a v30 cab. Completely UN-VH's the amp to mega metal land-KRUNCHAFANTASTIC!!

My dream for EVH gear is this

Make a one channel point to point amp that gets THE VH1 tone with the REAL matching pickup!!! They ony need one set of standby and power switches and one knob for the volume control. As long as it sounds like vh1 outta the box it don't need tone controls for eq. Not if it sounds like vh1 outta the box. Just crank that bitch up on 11 and flyyyyy!!!!!!
I'll figure out the rest on my own :D
But thats not gonna happen. Thats why we are here.

Hopefully he will open that Wolf custom shop again though like PV had- you pick out all the wood and everything. They made some off the wall wolfs. Some were ash, or even that pau fero stuff. You could any fretboard material or inlay. Custom paint with graphics-anything!! I can see this happening again. But I will never buy another wolf. Already have two and they are just basically strats and thats all they are in my mind.

On the other hand don't be so upset about bein single man. All your current belongings are all YOURS!
Sleepovers. And in the mornin they gotta get the f out.
And theres an old sayin, you're only as young as who you're feelin. Just don't get carried away like woody allen or nothin lmao!!
You get dinged up with the wrong woman she 'll take ALL your toys in the divorce and your pride.
At 36 I am tryin to stay away from them women and hole up with my favorite things and forget about them. If women see a man doin this they will literally come drag you outta your house-its women code. No man will get out of life alive in peace and contentment. So soon as you think your done and are fine bein alone-they will track and hunt your ass down and wreck it all for you!!
The Gospel-from yours truly ,

It's already out there! It is called a David Friedman Marsha ... or a Suhr '68SL ... or a Metro-Friedman.

Kman, I have zero motivation to get married now more skeptical about the trustability of them, too. They are good one thing, once a man knows and is unfazed to breakup with hotass chicks his power is fl on

Yeah, a new Wolfie Custom Shop would be cool, and not too hard to imagine since all the US Wolfies are built in the Fender Custom Shop.

I will say that while I do like the tone from my EBMM EVH, and Wolfies, I prefer different woods. A prime example is my new EVH Wolfgang. I liked the bridge pickup so much, I bought one for an incredible guitar that sounded lame.

Image

She's a limited edition PRS Singlecut Trem with a solid rosewood neck. The stock bridge pickup sounded brittle and thin, and needed TONS of gain to sound remotely decent. The EVH pickup has transformed that guitar. She's simply come alive. This guitar now has BALLS. Chunking on the low E sounds huge, the tone is just a little scooped compared to the Wolfie, with more bass and singing highs, but its MUSICAL. You get the warmth of the mahogany body, sweet highs from the maple, and she's articulate. Plus the rosewood neck feels awesome. I can only imagine how cool a Wolfie with those stainless frets and killer neck would feel made from rosewood.

As for amps, I don't see anything replacing my Rockstah/Metro, but that mini 5153 seems awesome...a Fender clean channel, Plexi, and 5150 all rolled into one.

I like the Wolfgangs but the nut width is too small for me. I cannot play harpegiated lines without sounding sloppy.
Maybe, one day, when they offer custom features, I'll get one.
... or I'll find somebody to make me a neck to put on a Wolfgang body ...

Yep. You could be a prophet because the words you speak are true. I recommend every man watch every episode of "Two and a Half Men" on DVD before they even consider marriage. Gene Simmons held the record, but he's history now. You have to be very careful. Better to learn it young then enjoy your life than to have to try and figure it out at a later age. You have to walk the balance between selfless caring and healthy selfishness and know when to let 'em go...

I am thinkin the literal "turn key" VH1 tone is pretty close to bein developed now. Been alot of exciting stuff in the last two years and it keeps getting better and better. What really aggravates the shit outta me after all the gear and $ in tryin stuff and the endless searching may pay off.
But some other young punk clown fresh outta the gate will pretty much be able to just walk straight to it with out battin an eye and say, "yeah, this is that vh1 tone and its cool but now that i play it I think I wanna try CC Devilles sound as i think it suits me better"
And we'll all be old men sittin on the porch tellin some kid
.........back in my day we didn't have VH in a box.....we had to make due with what we had......you kids today are spoiled i tell ya!!!
