The deal with mosfets is they really do behave like tubes. I have mentioned this before about using a randall rh100 as a slave.
It really reacts WITH the SPEAKER.

So if you just do a static plain resistive load....
You get the "Reactive" interaction back when the mosfet slave comes back into play at the end. And this is why I think the Bugera clip sounds so amazing.

The best reactive load you can get is the push pull style power amp like a tube... or mosfet for even better transparency.

The only thing that really happens is the speaker line voltage is gettin micro sized-then blown back up again a second time. The 2nd power amp is doin all the normal tube response curves bein loaded by the speaker.

I think anyone tryin to even remotely get a fake response curve of the reactive load in software or through line level outboard electronics and never having to use an actual "real speaker" is a long ways off yet. You can get the frequencies dialed in but as far a changing response curve.... yeah... thats a tuffy.
So actual amp pushing a speaker is gonna be about as close as your ever gonna get this decade for reaction principles.
