TWANGGG did a nice job using post EQ with a couple clips of mine... He is very good on that... And damn, the SH5 raw has tons of mids indeed...

try messing wwith the 600kz region... you can see a punctual drop at 600kz, that damn nosey mid sound... Or as my old teacher used to say "the frequency of cheap crapy guitars"

Yup, TWANGGG did the Voxengo EQ thing for me last fall, also added in some verb and such. detailed at the threads below.
