I was on the ocean for about 6 weeks but came back yesterday. Made a couple of clips with the rockstah mod 5 into the PCM 80.
Had a chance to play everyday underway.

First clip Fender

Les paul

I think it sounds ok.

I listened to the Les Paul track. Sounded really good, very convincing tones and playing (nice picture by the way). I would like to hear the same track with R side as is, and the L side dry w/out 'verb...

Sounds fantastic! What pickups? When Mark modded my Marshall 2x12 combo he recommended the Dimarzio Super Distortion for the mod 5 and that's what I have gone with for first album tones. What settings on the amp?

For the strat track I got a super distortion with the A5 magnet installed in it. Les paul track is stock pickups. Amp set with everything on 8 except bass which is on 2. Changing the magnet out was pretty easy and really changed the sound of the pickup IMO.

Im trying to figure out how to record each track separately. Right now its combining both tracks into one.

We need to start posting clips. I could listen to other peoples clips all day.

Man that really does sound great!

Does the strat have a floyd or a vintage 6 screw trem?

Can you describe the difference in sound that you hear between the Super D with the A5 magnet vs the stock ceramic mag?

Awesome!
The pcm80 is one box you will not outgrow. Its a lifetime piece of gear in my book anyway.
Unless you got money for a Bricasti. Then it could be different.
And to all those payin careful attention
If Cream don't sound good through your rig.. it probaby ain't brown

Nice tones there!

Are you using an eq to goose the front end of the amp?

its a floyd rose strat. I can't really describe the difference in sound with the magnet swap. It seemed to have more gain after though.

I think you recommended the PCM-80 to someone else on another post. Im glad I got it . It was pricy but well worth it.
