I had never seen this ... awesome! ... despite the horrible quality and the "non-english"-ness.

A stripped bare cab and checker  wonder what year those cabs really are or more so since I could care less about the boxes but the exact speakers in them are.

Listen i KNOW they were both born in holland but moved at a very early age to the USA so to hear them speak dutch so fluently is wild!
I was under the impression they had forgotten how to speak dutch? i guess not
I did not mind setting the closed captions on for english

that's wild! you know how language is all about expressing yourself - to think that ed has this whole bank of expression that is a different language than english - a whole additional set of sounds and patterns that run unconsciously and involuntarily through his brain - this has to affect what comes out when he goes to express himself on the guitar or any musical instrument - you know language is musical - so of course what i am getting at here is The Thing To Learn if YOU Want to PLAY Like Edward is ... DUTCH! Forget about CCOCWTOP clapton!! This is IT!

1) so many have criticized Ed for "lying" about his tone and parsing each and every word. No one remembers that English is his second language. Granted he was young but still, the nuances of English are immense.
2) my colleague at work's husband knew them growing up. that is where I got some of those old pics from the Whiskey. His parents are Indonesian-Dutch like Ed and Al's. She was telling me just the other day how close knit a community it was in Pasadena. They probably didn't know English very well for years and he, my colleagues husband, learned it watching TV.

25 watt greenbacks. I've got the pics somewhere. No x pattern with JBL or any of that nonsense. Just four old celestions.
