Jump studio multitrack (Cornford, schmo)

Post by donnyboiler » Tue Sep 15, 2015 9:24 am

Hey dudes.

This is a studio recording I did recently. Amp is my Cornford MK 50H II, FX consist of a stereo H3000 micropitch sim with ping pong delay which I set up in Logic. Hope you like it :)

ha! nice autotune on the vocal!! ;)

that's cool man - digging the playing on the solo. the guitar tone is a little bit "closed off" compared the vh recording. hard to get those harmonizing effects on there without creating that "behind the vale" tone.

Thanks man. No tuning or timing of any kind on this... apart from the micropitch on guitar. We were adamant that our new demo would consist of real performances only. It's not quite an Eagles record, but I'm proud!

great and wild! the vocal just has an autotune sound to it on the line: "You got to RO - WHOA - OLL with the punches..." @ :53 seconds. that's what it sounds like if i get too aggressive with the autotune and the notes jump unnaturally without the human glissando inherent in the human voice box. [see numerous references by Harry Connick Jr. - American Idol autotune guru.] ha! well that's a cool demo man - all the best with it - and i enjoy your playing and tone.

Yeah I've been accused of that before. Think I have an autotuney voice!

We used a little bit of Melodyne on our old demo and I ended up really regretting it, so this time I did everything at home. Here I don't even have a plugin for that so I couldn't be tempted! I just sung everything three times and picked the best phrases.
