Is this an amp mark modded? was modifying?
What model amp?
btw 2nd clip sounds better. I suspect the recording technique could have been better. Good luck with your quest and i hope the amp gives you pleasure.

Nice clips dude! I can't tell if Mark's mod6 sounds more like a plexi or a 2203 in terms of bass response and "sag" factor. Which does it sound like more in person?

Sean it sounds like a plexi , actually sounds just like your mod 5 but it retains that same tone no matter were you put the volume this circuit doesn't need a ppmv like the mod 5 .Mark had figured this circuit out and it is amazing, It has tons of gain on tap if you want it as my recordings show lol

My clips i had everything set wrong on the amp for evh toneI have never recorded before and i even had mic placement in the wrong spot , i am going to do some new clips set correctly with and with out a variac , the variac at 85 volts makes it warmer and even spongier , I just gotta figure out how to record it like it sounds in person ,I think i need a good software to record i am using audacity but here is my signal

guitar into mod 6
mod 6 into old Marshall 4x12 with old pre rola 20 watt green backs
sure sm57 into a pa out of pa to a cheap behinger sc 202 into my laptop

guys if you have suggestions for new stuff let me know as i am new to trying to record ,
thanks , tops
