House Of Pain (all digital amp)

Post by rawel34 » Wed Nov 16, 2022 2:58 pm

Just done a first experiment with my digital rig : custom PAF's HsH Strat -- Yamaha DG Stomp -- IR 4x12 Greenbacks -- solo slightly boosting with Digitech ToneDriver (digital TS-style).
Hope you like it.
Cheers,
Nuccio

Well done! DG Stomp huh, man Yamaha was years ahead in modeling for a while, we just didn't know it. Sounds killer I'd say. :)

Oh I just realised you're just playing over the original, thus we're not really hearing what your tone really is. Try playing over a backing track with no guitar.

Yes. Backingtrack I used is the original tune filtered by software but still a little bit of Eddie's guiitar is still there (just in centre of stereo panning) but still good for jamming and recording through. That in the clip is mostly my guitar (left side -right side for solo).

Yes. DGStomp is very old one (2000 or something about). I got that device in a cellar for many years and when I got an IR's loader just took it outside an tried through some good Celestion IR, switching "off" on board cab simulator that I never liked.
I twisted through the pots for a while but now I think results are very good and suitable.
