50 watt MV question

Post by Steve » Sat Mar 12, 2005 12:52 pm

My point to point board is install and working. I'd like to replace/change a few of the resistors to a different value to due a bit of tweeking, but I don't know their brand so the replacements will match what I currently have. I would guess the blue resistors are carbon metal film and the "tan" resistors are carbon composite or film. And I would also guess the are all 1 watt?? Can you guys help me out with what brand they are and a good source of supply? Thanks, Steve

The tan ones are 1 watt carbon films. I'm pretty sure the blue ones are metal oxide, but they're 2 watt .
A lot of the time I get stuff through Antique Electronic Supply at www.tubesandmore.com
or Mouser at www.mouser.com

It's probably cheaper at Mouser but browsing through everything they have can get tedious, so I often get everything at Antique Electronic for just a little more $$.
