i ordered parts for my 100 watt a few at a time. i'm now thinking i have a '69 board, not a '68. Image

i may have to saw the thing off to get the cap board in! honestly, i'm building it for sound, not as a replica. any suggestions greatly appreciated as always.

yeah, i'm seeing that now. i'm trying to build a 12k like yours Mark. i wonder if i can "saw" the board off & get close enough to make room for the cap board. when i got this i was thinking it was just like a generic board & you loaded it for the year of your choosing. i was just going to put my diodes on the end of the ptp instead of the cap board, then i ordered a cap board & see they won't both fit in there. i'm not going to cut both boards off. what a pain. i kind of wish i would have just got the perf boards & turrets now.

looks to me like i can saw the '69 board off & it will be pretty close to the 67-68 with turrets for the bias trimmer. i just need to make sure i can mount the thing tonight. may need to drill holes. live & learn eh...

Now THAT is how you get shit done! Bravo.

Just hit the edge with a red sharpie and you'll be all set.

You can fix anything with a Hacksaw, Hammer, and duct tape.

Nicely done!
That's what I did when I rearranged my insides except I cut the board all the way back past the bias circuitry.
