Since it popped a couple of KT66's I will be doing a Bulgin socket in place of the power cord I had to patch a nick in.........

.. Are you saying that a bulginsocket will prevent the amp from smoking tubes?

No, it's just that since the chassis will be out to bias new tubes, I can replace that sloppy looking power cord. I nicked it stripping the insulation and had to patch it with shrink tube and it looks like shit. :evil: So I'm gonna kiss it goodbye while it's all apart.

I honestly don't hear enough of a difference in sound between this amp and the Super PA with the Philips/Mustards to justify the cash outlay. And these are the original SoZos too..........not the Vintage +!!!!!

George just made me a JTM100 set with split turrets. It is very nice. George does seriously excellent work at a good price. Made me happy, and that ain't easy when it comes to Marshall amp parts. :wink:
