PTP replacement help for 1996 SLP

Post by JLH » Mon Jan 07, 2008 5:55 pm

I have a 1996 Marshall 100 watt SLP, Is there any one who has a similar amp that has modded it with a PTP circuit, and if so what kit did you use and what were the end results ????
It has new Iron
Thank you for your help, I am not schooled in electronics so all help is appreciated, I am new to this Forum and site, if this information is somewhere close please advise as well. :)

Welcome aboard!

A few years back I replaced the PCB in my 95 SLP with a PTP board mostly for the ease of swapping components. The difference in the sound was subtle but it was a change for the better.

This was what I went with at the time...

...or you can get the pre-assembled board which is the same thing but just costs a bit more.

HI

i also not schooled in electronics . but i success to change my SLP tp PTP.

in fact, sound is no different of PTP and PCB. but PTP is more converience to install parts. and PTP is more easy to repair.

i use Sozo premium cap , it is great. and i use all NOS AB resistor
