What is that wire???

okay, almost done with wiring, using photos and diagrams as reference...
in step 14 of the 100W plexi instructions, what is the red wire, 4th turret from the top right corner connected to??
im paranoid i have missed something now...

also, why all the extra parts? got quite a few left over resistors, and one trimpot ( where do they go, am i missing something?

That turret is where the centertap of your OT, the choke and the 1A fuse come together. If I remember Georges instructions correctly, the red wire is going to the fuse.
