Late 70's 100w JMP MKII chassis and head cab

Post by pjoliver182 » Sat Nov 21, 2015 6:51 am

I'm struggling to source a metro mv type chassis and head cab. My intention is to build a 1977 slp mkii clone.

I need the following features though:

Rocker switches
4 inputs
4 preamp sockets would be a nice to have
Stand up power TX
Totally pre-drilled and ready to go

The metro mv chassis would have been perfect...but where to get one??

Thanks Nigel.

I'm really just looking for a chassis and head cab to transfer over all the components rather than buying a whole amp.

Here is the head cab, try mojo for the chassis, they can also make the face plates.

There seems to be enough interest in the chassis that ValveStorm will re-establish the availability of the MetroAmp MV chassis in early 2016. We also offer the MetroAMp style turret/eyelet boards for them. Mojotone already offers the correct head cabinet for these.

The question is what do folks want for the panels? We could make plexi-style panels that would work, but there is no source for the original Metro metal panels. There is an alternate source for metal panels, but they are pricey at $120 per set, AND the back panels would be limited to a 24 inch width, which would require Mojo to make a custom back panel for their cabs to accommodate.
