My girl got a big new set of knobs

Post by BrianH » Wed Aug 19, 2009 7:59 pm

My JTM45 clone had the usual gold capped Marshall knobs but I finally found a set of the big Clapton knobs. Think it's finally complete!

Love this amp.

Nice Hiwatt build Brian,

Gawd I seen the camera shaking from the volume and SPL displacement!

Are your ears OK?

I seen those 2 watter 10K's I sent ya on the board they look good! Your wire lacing and routing is impeccable! 8)

Thanks!

The 2w are actually ones I had but I do have yours, as well - I finished up this build a year or so ago. But yes, it's quite loud! Rattles picture frames off tables downstairs

I got them from "tommie" on the plexipalace. Now, if anyone can return the favor and hook me up with those square JTM45 handle endcaps like here, that would also be awesome!

:D

Hey, I'm looking for those end caps myself, so do let me know if you have any success! Actually the handles that Marshall used on the JTM45/100 Hendrix stack, on the cabs, were fairly close. At least the end caps were.

Brian, I don't think these are exactly correct, but not too far off:

Thanks! Little small tho. I've seen similar as I think the little ones were pretty common on cameras and such.

That's the Musicground handle, I have a couple of those. They look pretty good.

Yeah, thanks. I have a MG handle too. Nice but not quite the square ends I'm looking for.
