About a month ago, give or take a week. Allen has told me that since then they guy who was trying to get me to pay him $500 to get a price quote was demoted to simple salesman, as at the time of our exchange he was guitar section manager. At this point I could care less. There are a couple of good people who work at that store, but that whole exchange left such a bad taste in my mouth for Guitar Center in general, I will never ever purchase anything from any of them again.
