News about member Vintweasel
I know he was selling some gear here. I sent him a PM and seeing that he was from N.E. Ohio, I also went to his website and found that his band is a local band playing the same clubs that I play. Well, like all of you who tried to contanct him, I too got no response. Long story short?? I was talkin' to my bass player today and he ran into Vintweasel's drummer last night and was told that their guitar player died of a heart attack 2 weeks ago. Well, I put 2 and 2 together and that's why we haven't heard back from Vintweasel. I was trying to look up his obituary to post, but I haven't found it. Just an F.Y.I.

I don't know exactly how old he was, I never got a chance to meet him. Here's his bands site:Leader wrote:That sucks. I had a bad heat attack about 3 and a half years a go. I was only 34. How old was the guy?

Man, I hope the Family and close Friends can deal with this. I especially think of the Children, Wife and Mother. I have a hard enough time tryin' to understand life, much less death, but wherever or whatever happens when one passes, maybe it isnt all bad. Like I've heard before , "Maybe he's jammin' with some of his heroes now".
