Oh man....this pickup!

Holy hell....I'm in love. I don't know where this thing originated (recieved as partial trade for another p-up from a customer) but it totally smokes! It *looks* like a cheapo h-bucker but apon closer inspection it has alnico rod magnets in place of the bar/slug-screw configuration. Measures 12k series, 6k each coil, so I figured I'd keep it around to stick in the neck pos of my next project (Epiphone neck-thru PRS knock off w/that gawd awful ebonol fretboard). I was thinking it would get closer to a "real" single coil tone when split, and mahn does it ever nail it! WAY better than tapping a regular h-bucker. I'm sold on this whatever it is p-up, apparently of the import variety....no markings. Anyone seen such a thing? I know Duncan has the "stag mag", but that's quite a bit hotter per coil than a strat single coil. All I know is I need to find more of these so I can throw the rest of my neck p-ups in the junk bin.
