And watch out when Page starts to 'puffing his cheaks out' like a blowfish or something, he means buissiness !
I see everyones points about Page's style and his technical abilities. I agree about the loud super lead tone as well. It IS a very PURE, natural sound that is very lick dynamic, but is fairly hard to play longer, smooth legato lines. I like that aspect, and another gret example of that is UFO era Michael Schenker. His tone on the "Stranger's In The Night" album eximplifies this great "Cranked up Marshall" sound. There is just 'magic' involved in a 24 3/4 scale, humbucker equiped guitar and a good old Marshall. As Page has said, its a 'Perfect Marriage'.
