Very cool. Have Steve look at the specs for those JRC chips. Maybe they are cool.

Are you prepared to recap? None of the other mods will see their full potential if your caps are drying up.
Plan on spending $200-300 for good electrolytics. You can't skimp on these.

Ill have Steve check them out , He mentioned the same thing..

In the manual it says to let the console warm up for a min of 5 minutes before operating..

Also consider the ridiculously good Burr Brown stuff made by Texas Instruments:

You really can't do better for op amps IMO.

Hmm looks like some parametics might be in order..
Well Ive spent the day pumping audio thru every channel on this thing

No noises at all.. all channels very much alike..

I also noticed that after about an hour of operation the audio becomes very warm an lucid like.. Just what I was hoping for....
