Any Black Crowes Fans here?

Post by dirtydeeds22 » Thu Mar 24, 2005 10:08 am

Good news, at least for us Black Crowes fans. The Brothers Robinson seemed to have mended some fences at least for now and are touring this year. I hope they come out west.

To be honest, I have no idea who's playing lead guitar. I would assume Audley would be, but I'm secretly hoping it'll be Marc Ford. My favorite Crowes ablums are the ones he played on.

It will be the Robinson's, Sven Pipien on bass, Weird Ed on keys, Bill Dobrow on drums, and Marc Ford on guitar. I will be seeing them at Bonnaroo and I can't wait. They are such a great live band, and I haven't seen Marc Ford play since '96. Should be great.

Zoso,
I'll expect a full review. Marc Ford kicks ass.

My ex-girlfriends band played a bunch of dates with Rich Robinsons solo band. I was at a few. He's a real cool guy but honestly his solo music was really bad. It was vanity guitar playing at its fullest. I love guitar music but not guitar music for the sake of guitar music. She was tellin me he was talking then (about a 6 months ago) about the BC gettin back together.
