Here's a clip that has some forensic scientists with a bunch of audio gear.
Looks like a 63-67 Fender is a scientific requirement!

It's about halfway through the clip.

I can't say much about the rest of the information in the video, although one of the guys out at my University was a campaign worker for RFK. One of these days I should ask him what he heard.
