Becker is awesome. The Cacophony stuff is just crazy.
If I ever think I want to get married, I'll find a woman I don't like and buy her a house.

Even though it is a throw away version, I think I have listened to enough Malmsteen to tell who can nail the notes/feel, what do you mean... :o

You could substitute the word "life" for the word "playing" and this would still be a very accurate statement. Jason Becker is real inspiration for anyone, and unfortunately his playing talent was cut WAY short. Its a shame that we'll have to speculate who and what his playing could have been if not for ALS.

If you are inspired by him, I suggest taking the time to send an email to him. I did, someone there read it to him and I got a reply thanking me, which I did not deserve -- he is a great human being, which is what it's all about.
