Hi,
Can anybody name me (especially the guys coming from California) name me a few clubs (besides the Whisky a go go) in LA where you can play with a live band?
We're planning to do some shows in August

The Cat Club has different nights but primarily rock n roll, and is always looking for new bands (check out their Myspace page).
LA Weekly is definitely the site/paper to see all the venues down there and get a feel for what you'll expect in each.
