the why of your first sentence i quoted is answered by the normal behavior you adopted in your second .... when you're angry , you smash what you have at hand ( your music gear didn't do anything to you i presume
) , rioters do quite the same just on a larger scale ... that's why people responsible for all this mess hide in their own posh ghettos , there's really no interest for them to be at hand for the people they piss onto ... there's really a HUGE difference between real men who made their wealth working hard , producing something of real interest , and wealthy bloodlines who made their fortune sitting on their asses getting interests because they arlready had money , while joking cynically about what they call low lifes ... the mistake of the rioters is to confuse those two cathegories , the first cathegory would gladly hire youngsters if the second cathegory didn't made buisness so difficult to manage for them ...
