This summer , while all my students in mathematics were on holidays , i've been forced to cover my expenses working at mc donalds for two months ( just not to eat on my savings of the last year ) and I just been told my trial period at mc donald's was over this afternoon ( understand fired ) , i must say ...lol i'm glad , what a bunch of morons , they're all bragging about how efficient this enterprise is , as a mathematician specialised in optimisation i must say i cannot understand how they can call themselves capitalists , the waste provoked by their methods is purely unbelievable , simple things ; like occupation of floors plan , while rush hour is raging , when there's someone bending on a grill and another one toasting buns the guy on the other end of the kitchen cannot pass through without spilling all his freshly cooked big macs on the floor
of maybe two or three plates of macs a night but on a year , it makes a considerable amount of money ...... was it so hard to calculate spacements while building the thing ?? buns for regular cheeseburgers are three meters from the toaster
.....and on and on .... we've been 23 to be fired before the end of the trial period only this week
all hard workers with no day of abscence .... i talked with a manager who raged angainst this insanity , and it's pretty clear what bosses wan't is to have only a staff of fresh guys in trial period , like that they cannot complain on anything , cuz if so they're fired immediately ( how convenient ! ) , can talk to them as if they were trash , they cannot ask for day off and shit ..... now they told me this afternoon , that their generosity is so great that they let me work two weeks more so i have the time to find something else ( which i already have since my students came back ) , but they ( hypocritically ) make everything possible to make me leave the place , like ordering me getting out mountains of trash to the 400m far trash bin by foot outside in the rain while there's an elevator to do the thing inside the building ( which they tell me at the last "shippment" of trash like " oh i forgot to give you the keys of the elevator
) , and after beeing soaked to the sockets making me doing things for hours in the fridge
...... i must say i'm glad , i was going to quit anyway , i cannot believe how they treat reliable workers , refusing even a glass of water after 4 consecutive hours in the heat of the grills , all the guys in university out of our batch of hired guys have been fired for whatever shitty reasons , now their staff is only a new batch of trial period non diplomed guys that don't know how to make a sandwitch ( how's they are supposed to be efficient in rush hour ? ???anyway it's their problem now , i don't give a fuck ) ..... i made my lot of shitty jobs , discharged trucks in shipping companies at night, worked slicing pigs in a cookig company , all kind of stuff , but i NEVER saw something as shitty as working at mc donalds ....
,ya know i've got a deep admiration for ford's methods like knowing if you pay well an employee then he'll be able to buy ford cars , knowing an employee in bad shape and threated like shit cannot produce efficiently , this guy really was a pioneer , i cannot believe how lowball , shortsighted this kind of big corps became , as i've said they're not even capitalist , they're just bottom of the classroom dickheads hiring and pressing slaves like lemons until they wear out .... this shit is beyond my understanding skills ... end of the rant
