How I know I live in a hockey city...

Post by ohmygodtheykilledkenny » Sat Nov 26, 2011 7:25 pm

We just got the Winnipeg Jets back (previously the Atlanta Thrashers) this season.

In order to get tickets, you have to enter a ticket lottery. There is an 8000 deep wait list for seasons. Virtually the entire arena is pre sold to season ticket holders for the next 3 years.

Proud to be from the peg.

You should check out "Hockey-Town". Detroit Red Wings, one of the original six. It's HUGE here! Not to denigrate Winnipeg by any stretch of the imagination, but Hockey is a big boost to the city and morale. :toast:

Not really, it's a breeze to get Red Wing tickets, that's where all the Toronto fans go.
