How do I block an IP address from the forum???

Or, more accurately, how do I find out the IP address of the site that keeps signing up these members with names like "texas holdem" and onlinepoker.com????

For the last three Saturdays I've had to manually delete dozens of these fake member names. Fuckin annoying.

Little help here??

Not sure if this helps but it appears to be a spam bot. Check out some other bloggers that have experienced the same thing:

It's a spam bot. Did a quick search at the phpBB forums and found this.

Ah ha, a new thing to worry about.

I'm not hip to modding the code myself. I'll hire (meaning beg you with parts in trade) to help me out after I get back from NAMM>

George have a look here http://www.phpbb.com and go to the forum and do a search using keywords: banning ip The search came up with quite a few suggestions.
