Root Canals suck!!!!!! / new workhorse

Post by tonejones » Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:41 pm

I know I'm stating the obvious here,

but my first root canal never even came close to throbbing the way this bastard is!!!!!

A short trip to the Pharmacy later, all was well (thank you Mr. Loritab)!!! 8)

On another note, I believe I might've found myself a new workhorse

http://www.schecterguitars.com/spec.asp?id=19#

Set neck, SD JB bridge/'59 neck both coil tapped, Tone Pros bridge, Grovers, gun metal color hardware, strings thru body...........

Found one locally for $500!!!!!!

The only reason it was still around is because whoever set up the neck did it Fender style (nice action, but with string superbuzz!!!!). This is definitely a LP style axe and has to have some neck relief.....

I'm taking her to the local set-up guy Monday, and if it goes like I believe it will......am betting she'll be in my grasp for good by Tues. nite!!!!! :D :D :D
Let's get going, 'cause there's too much music, too little time!!!!

I've seen those too. They're gorgeous in person and really reasonably priced. Too bad they don't come with a Floyd Rose. I really need my Floyd.
Never settle for an amp thats smaller then you are.

Took that axe and gave it some much needed neck relief yesterday, and all I can say is DAMN!!!!!!.......

I couldn't resist.....It's now in the stable!!!!!

The head dude at the music store where I'm a teach is really cool, so all I have to do is slide him $40-50 a month for awhile and it's all cool!!!! (not the first time I've done this, but it's been a couple years since I got something doing the in-store credit thing).....

Man the frets on this thing are soooo oversized, I'm pulling off all kinds of shred licks with a moderately sloppy left hand that my LP would never let me get away with!!!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
