My Son and High School Band Memorabilia

Post by Flames1950 » Tue Nov 16, 2004 9:35 am

So I'm cleaning out the basement a while back and came across a banner I'd painted for my hard rock band from high school (back in '86, the good ol' hair days!)
And just yesterday my buddy Rob sent me the sweatshirt my son is wearing in the pics. We made it our senior year for a friend who was pregnant to have for her baby, and she passed it on to my buddy Rob when he had kids, and so now he's passed it on to me. Sixteen years of history behind that sweatshirt!!

Flames,
Your son looks like he's sitting in front of two monoliths. Marshall Monoliths that is. Sweet picture. Keep those pics for him when he gets older, he'll appreciate it.

lol, what a cute kid!

Did you take the top picture right after you finished playing? I would think so judging by the smile on his face!

I can see you're biased on the subject. I may let him take the Paul anyway, I spend so much time with Stratocasters that the SG feels more at home on the spur of the moment. Takes me a while to get used to the Les Paul again.

I sold my strat because I wasn't puting much time on the paul. The strat felt good but my paul sounded better. It was just hard to try to get used to both. they are totally different to me.
