For anyone wanting lessons in electronics, I am offering at no cost online electronics courses. My courses will be aimed toward tube guitar amplifiers, but will also teach you electronics basics that a lot of us here don't know.

Thunder do a search for biasing a rectifier here in the forums Its a classic lesson.
