My main guitar is a PRS McCarty. Love it. #2 is a Clapton strat.

That's an old Epiphone V. It used to have a bad licensed Floyd Rose bridge.

A guy brought it into the store (way before I started teaching there 3 yrs. ago), they dismantled it and never put it back together...

Fast forward to about a year ago when the store owner says "Do you want this thing?"
Hmmm...lemme think....free flying V HELL YES!!!!!

There's a local guy that does good work (same guy that refretted my Les Paul) so I was going to have him fill in the cavity on the body, do a tune-o-matic, get some more Highorders...

A couple of weeks ago the guy calls the store and asks "Do you still have my V?" So I'm not doing anything to it until I'm sure it's officially mine....
That don't look like no country twanger there, Rushman!!

lol...don't I know it!!!! The whole country thing's starting to look like a false alarm, as I've heard absolutely nothing. Maybe their current lead player decided to stay, I'm not sure......

But hey, it's a relatively small town with only 2 music stores.....I'll hear what happened sooner or later (you hear everything about every musician/situation there weather you want to or not).....
Let's get going, 'cause there's too much music, too little time!!!!

Nice Strat WOT,love the seventies Strats now.
Heh heh, I bought this one years ago specifically because I was such a Blackmore and Yngwie fan. Not really into scalloping, but I can play a scalloped neck if I have to.

I've always been a 70's Strat fan, even when they were considered "junk" by music store owners/used dealers. I guess since all of the 50s and 60s Strats are gone, then the 70s Strats are considered "good" now. Read some of the descriptions on eBay or in VG these days. Read a GP from the 80s or a VG from the 90s and you'll see what I am talking about. Freaking hypocrites.

I also have other vintage Strats, but this one is the main one for me.
