Being a Bob Seger fan since 74 and one of the lucky ones to attend a recent concert here in his home state of Michigan, thought I'd pass this along:

http://detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/sec...template=seger

Is a very good read, and includes some rare interviews from the early 70's...a few years before he hit it big time. Also, check out the pix from longtime Seger photographer "Ken Settle". A few go back to the days of Bob and the brand new 'Silver Bullet Band' playing a small club in Wayne, Mi...appox 73' or so.

Hey John, are you going to any shows? The guitarist in the openeing act is playing a couple '74 100 watts. And he was thinking about getting a Metro. I kight go down on the 28th.
He said the security was pretty tight though. Even with a comped pass, they might throw me out before Bob hits the stage.
And he could only get one pass.

We'll see. He has a day off and might just come up to the shop.

Must be the same opening act Bob had for the Saginaw show on Nov 10..."Steve Azar"......his guitarist was great, and a mutha with a slide. Had a great tone through the pa, even though our seats were in BFE....
Let me know how ya make out...that'd be great if you hooked up and got him one of your amps!

Hey George, is the guitarist your talking about Mark Chatfield ? He's an old friend of mine who now lives in Vegas and used to play in the GODZ before doing work with Seger.
