I remember seeing him perform on this one VH-1 concert doing "Voodoo Chile" with Rob Thomas

I'd never heard of him the first time I saw him play, he opened for none other than Eric Clapton. I mean the place went absolutely nuts, the entire crowd was on their feet howling. His bass player is just incredible as well, take a close listen.
