I just finished fixing my son's computer...
I finally formated the drive to get rid of this crap. Spy bot,Norton or anything I tried could fix it. It just regenerated every time I got rid of it.
It's sad that someone would put so much time into something so destructive...
I guess the best way is to have an operating systen on a small drive and keep everything you really want to save on an external drive.

Gonzo download Bazooka scanner. It doesnt get rid of anything. It shows which ware is on your machine and it links to its website which has specific instructions on how to root out the ware thats dug in real deep. It will tell you where to find the files in the reg to delete one at a time if you have to for each type of ware.
My machine was just like yours. The root program was dug in and installing things everywhere and whenever I ran a ware program or deleted the program folder the root program would just reinstall all of it. It kept installing about 60 or so programs that would get into the windows autostart folder and start up when I start my PC and it would run so slow I could barely workj until I opened task manager and ended the programs one at a time. I would delete it from the tray and autostart just to see it reappear in a minute.
