The converters are soso so its time for newone Im probably going to go with the Audiofire12.. The Fire Station isnt supported anymore and has that old Yamaha MLan set up.. Im going to borrow Geo's Neve and API Pre's at the end of the week . Im drooling over that as we speak....

No doubt. I was so spoiled when i was doing the recording studio stuff. I've been waffling as to whether to build another amp as my 2nd DIY project or start on some preamp/compressor kits...an LA2A PCB has been calling out to me. It's hard to start justify all the costs since I'm not really doing anything with any of this stuff except amusing myself in the apartment.
