To be honest, I'm not really sure about doing local "squares" games since they're illegal, er, I mean informal. This Superbowl is the first time I ever won anything on squares.
Be assured that tipping IS encouraged in the casinoes. Learn by my ignorance. I normally don't mess with card tables but I tried my luck at a let-it-ride poker table a few years ago. On my third hand I got a full house and over $500 for my meager bet. The table got really quiet for the next few hands and in between hands the dealer kept saying "THAT SURE WAS A NICE FULL HOUSE I DEALT YOU!". Thankfully, someone nudged me and clued me in. I guess I looked like a real cheapskate there for a while.
