They must have liked the anti-emmanent domain message of "Farm on the Freeway". Which is actually a pretty good damn song, but not Metal at all.

I remember when Metallica finally won a few years later, and they went up to get their award, and the Drummer said, "We want to thank Jethro Tull for not realeasing an album this year."
