I also like goin to the asian marts and getting some Vietnamese coffee. They grow alot of robusta, as opposed to arabica. The robusta is a trade off. It doesnt have the depth of flavor, but has more caffiene and a bolder but one dimensional type taste. I even use the sit on top of your cup filter that the vietnamese use. This is the only type of coffee that I use any sugar in, sweetened condensed milk, which is what the vietnamese use.

I like the permanent brass looking filter as opposed to the paper.
The paper filters out some of the oils or something, becasue it definately seems more tasty with the brass, but when you get to the bottom of the pot, some of the particles, and gunk settles there, and it's not very yummy.

So If I have to have that last cup, I put a paper towel over the cup,
Becasue that part at the end is (in the words of my 4 year old) Yucky!

Yeah, some of the coffee grit seems to get through those brass filters. I agree, that they do taste better than using paper. A French press works real well too.

Folgers with a touch of sugar and cream.
