I think the thieves are more worried about me than visa versa. Before they spilled the beans... I was on them. Even tried to friend Michael on facebook, and see if we could meet. (he's the only one that's 18). He didn't want any part of that, and blocked me. Someone told him that my black truck was parked by his mom's house. Then my son kept at them, and I think the pressure was what made them slip up.

All 3 are locked up now. Guitar is still nowhere to be found.

The incriminating text message proves the guitar is/was in their possession, and that's enough to hold them liable for it beyond any reasonable doubt.

You hold all the cards. Press every charge available to you. When they secure a lawyer, he'll come asking for a deal to reduce the charges. The guitar is likely to magically appear. One way or another, you'll be compensated.

LMAO... Love that jailbird image.

If these guys want any cooperaation they need to come clean with the guitar. I've had some time to cool down, and not having them all walking around free has helped. I'm really not out for blood, just compensation for medical bills and the return of the guitar. If it never shows up, I want enough money to build another Warmoth just like it plus at least $500 for the hassle, (but I'll talk my son into putting an SD in the Bridge instead of the JB this time). It cost him 2k when everything was said and done.

As far as any further compensation, I'll leave that to the judge. I know it's customary to pay 4 times the medical bills. My mom settled out of court in an accident case with no lawyers years ago for that. Hopefully we can get a judgement for resistution in the crimminal cases without having to take them to civil court.

So I say at least $2500 for the guitar for the theives to pay , and 4 times the medical for Brian, anything else above that would be appreciated and help towards college.

I think that pretty fair..
