Yeah, it was a tough one to watch last night, the Bruins just didn't bring it.

I'm with George, watch out for the Kings...

I was rooting for FLA...just so maybe I could catch a game down here next week after finals are done. But whatever...round 1 was entertaining as hell.

My east predictions are looking pretty solid. NYR over PHI could definitely work out that way. Lundqvist really had an awesome game tonight and got better as the series went on. The Caps are in trouble if he stays at the level he was at tonight for their series.

I haven't seen as much west action this year, but I think STL is for real with that superb defense they play.

NY-LA Final??? Damn that could get expensive

As long as Messier is in the box and the Rangers know they have to answer to him they have a real good shot, G!

That was a bullshit penalty called on Calalhan that led to Ovi's goal. And even the announcer said Boyle was impeded allowing Ovi to get clear bit no call. Too many posts and crossbars for Del Zotto... :x

Well Rangers got screwed by a no call and a bad call last game and the Caps got screwed by a good call last night! Even up I say!

But, no suspension or fine for Ovechkin targeting Giradi's head? Shanahan SUCKS. Oh, now that Cindy is out, Bettman's other golden boy can do no wrong?

Saw that Ovechkin hit... Lost whatever respect I had ....and he's a repeat offender.
The Torres hit on Hossa has now cost Big Hoss his carreer. At-the-time a leading top scorer (top 3 I recall)
So the 25 game suspention for Torres "don't mean shit".
Isn't it supposed to be a-tooth-for-a-tooth ? In other words Hossa's carreer (and Love of the Game) out... Torres... DONE ! POS
Although, to be fair, Hoss did get called for boarding a player earlier in the year trying to catch an icing, and has only done it once in his career in which the league has taken that into consideration.

NYR plain' a little nervous, but Lundqvist lookin' strong. Can't wait to see Ovy on the back nine next week... FPOS

No fan of Overchicken but I disagree. Watch again. It was shoulder on shoulder. No head contact. His left foot leaves the ice, then he tries to step over with the right to follow the play. It looks like he left his feet, but it's called skating. Shoulder on shoulder even despite the height factor. You'll see the refs point of veiw behind the net and it looks like a head shot. Replay it and watch, and pause on the hit.
