Awesome ! So Zappa and Hackett did a little tapping before Ed. Tapping aside, that was real good. It looked like he was using a Pignose !

I love "Willy The Pimp", "I Am The Slime", and "Dynamo Hum", the most of his stuff, but damn, he has so much ! Man, that was a BOLD man, getting up like that in front of everyone playing through a Pignose. Awesome ! Kiss my Aura, give me some Mora !

I love his stuff, wide and varied.
A fanatical work ethic and endless imagination.
He should of kept playing guitar.
A true original.

Wow ! And to think of what was to come. I remember watching "Antiques Road Show", and a woman had a real good painting of Franks from this era or maybe before. I forgot the subject matter of it, but remembered that it was real good, in "True" Zappa style.

A pignose dialed in right can get some cool tones. I heard a guy a long time ago playing VH through one with just a Flange and a Phase. He was an excellent player, and it sounded really good. This was like in 1979/1980 (VH2 had just came out and he had already mastered both albums better than anyone I've ever heard since), and it inspired me to start playing. He even had built the guitar, and strriped it and everything.
Something I'll never forget.

Yeah 'ol Michael Schenker used one to good effect on UFO's "Lights Out" album as well.
