On Blues For Greeny,Gary plays this on his Lowden acoustic guitar,a fine Irish instrument,his version is killer as is the show.
On Plexi Palace Forum recently I was told by one of the resident pontificators,actually a moderator,that it was BFD that Gary sold the guitar,it is the player not the instrument,I disagreed as a great guitar can spur on and inspire many players,as Greeny has!
I will have to research this closer,but off hand I would say that Gary used the same setup at the live show as on the CD.

He used his Marshall straight bottom cabs and might have had EV's loaded in one of them.
Also a Vibroverb,with the internal speakers diconnected and driving another Marshall 4X12".On stage he may have had his old Bluesbreaker or a reissue,I will watch the tape again this weekend!
I love hearing this guitar through the old 1972 Super Bass,Parisienne Walkways,or this vintage/modern setup.
Gary was fond of the Alesis Quadreverb at the time,late eighties and on,I even bought one new cause I liked his sund,but my vintage Marshalls were too noisy with the device and I gave up on it and sold it at the ususal loss!

I have been in personal communication with Neil Carter,Gary's famed songwriting partner.Wild Frontier,Victims Of The Future,After The War,Gary Moore Live,ect.
I am preparing some technical questions for him about his keyboard and guitar amp setups from the WF era,and questions about the recordings and his songwriting with Gary!
Neil is a very talented and humble super-talented musician,who now teaches woodwind instruments at a college of music in Brighton,England,where Gary Moore,now lives,but their paths haven't crossed in some time,and after After The War,Neil expected to carry on his collabaration with Gary,but a Bob Daisley's suggestion,Gary went the blues route and brought in Don Airey,so Neil was out in his prime imo!
Neil cowrote a lot of Wild Frontier and my personal favorite GM song,"Blood of Emeralds",which was originally Neils idea!
So moore on this soon GM fans!

Nice to hear him extend the solo. No wonder Jeff Beck praised him for his cover, you can really hear his influence in Gary's trem use.
