Thats been posted over and over again on every guitar/gear forum.

I really don't get what the big thing is about this video. All his songs sound exactly like that to me.

I was cryin', too. My stomach was killing me. I haven't laughed that hard in an awfully long time as I did after watching some of that guy's clips. I like Yngwie but it was still a riot. The guy knocks others even worse- for instance, John Petrucci as he demonstrates his guitar rack set up (in clip #4):

"Now this amp controls the rate of the Earth's revolution... This one controls how hot the sun is..." Hahahaha. You're killin' me, man!

Than your an ignorant ass hat... who doesn't appreciate good music, just because you cannot comprehend it.

Oh well since you put it that way, I guess I was wrong, after all, he did teach god how to play.

I guess I'm not entitled to my own opinion.

I was just trying to have some fun. I don't like being called an ignorant ass, thats all. Some people get a little bent out of shape if others disagree with them. So now I'm gonna say it...

I don't like Yingwie's style. All his songs sound the same to me. There are lots of people out there who's style sounds the same and he is one of them to me. I'm glad if he inspires people to play, thats awesome. I don't compare myself to him or put myself on a level of his playing. I don't hold this against anyone who likes him.

I'm not a fan of the tone from the strat but I do enjoy some strat players, Gilmour is a huge influence on me and I love listening to SRV, but I don't like strats.

I remember when Yingwie first hit the scene. I was into bands like Priest, Maiden and the Scorpions just to name a few. I didn't like him then and I don't like him now. Back then I was playing Metallica and Priest riffs.

I'm not a big fan of sweepers or shredders. I like the blues influenced lead styles. I love the Bon Scott era of AC/DC, thats what brought me to this site and is the reason I bought a JTM45 kit.

I realize that that not everyone is gonna like the style of music I enjoy and I accept that. I am also a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their opinion with out the fear of being called an ignorant ass.

It's all in fun guys, Don't let your emotions get the best of you.
:)
