Cradle Rock

I first heard Rory from this era. Loved the tone he got. Wasnt he using a Vox AC-30 and some sort of treble booster ?

There are great players then there are the guys on a whole 'nother level.... one of them would be Rory Gallagher.

Thanks for the info. I have a copy cassete of alot of his early - mid 70's stuff . I was very impressed with the fact that he easily played outside of the box (pentatonic, that is) and had a great technical control over his instrument. He meant everything he played.

That's cool. As I said, no disrespect intended. I just happen to be a big Rory fan for a long time. Rory was always pure passion for playing to his audience.
