They both sound like riviting reads!!

I'm sure if I went to write a thesis these days it'd be along the lines of a "Sheep doesn't go 'moo' and a cow doesn't go 'baa.'

I only wrote it a year ago and i've forgotten most of it

Nothing hugely exciting but it earned me the money to build my JTM 45 and get some great gear. Last time i dug my thesis out was to use it to prop an amp up for biasing

If you block out the hair, he looks a LOT like J. Page... then again, if you block out the FACE, he looks a lot like H. Stern.

Brian May kicks ass!!!
Back when thier Inuendo Album came out ( o.k. not the most rockin Queen Album) Brian May did a U.S. Tour of radio stations, he brought in a red special from Guild and a ZOOM box that had a Brian May amp setting.
He would go on the air and play live with thier old Queen Songs.
Those tapes are INCREDIBLE!! and he is playing thru a cheap amp modeling device.
seemed so not the rockstar...humble....down to earth
If I had a choice of who I'd like to meet as a world class guitarist.
Definitely Brian May

I got one of the burns red specials when they first hit the states. Great sounding guitar, but I've always had tuning issues with it. I haven't played it in a year or so. Phil

Me, too! That's why I asked.
I had the Guild version years ago. Needed $$$ so I sold it
Is Burns making the new Red Special as a private label for May?
Ever see this one?

Those look cooler than the burns one. The burns has great pickups, but has a strat style trem which doesn't quite cut it in my opinion. The burns ones say burns on the headstock. I might be trading mine towards an early '60's brown fender concert tomorrow.
