JBeck gear pics from San Diego '06

Added here 'cuz the option is there on "Artists".

Finally got the pics out of my phone!

Not great after all that wait. One of the pretty simple pedal board and one of his rig. So, what's he got there? A wah (which) and a mystery box???

Cool pics Chief. The mystery box is a ring modulator...I forget which brand, but I do recognize it from that pic. Another interesting thing is that out of the three DSL heads JB had/has, only one of them sounded good, and JB and his tech don't know why. Marshall sent JB the first head as a demo, which JB refused to give back! Then JB bought two more and neither of them sounded anywhere near like the first one. So, JB sent the first one to Marshall, hoping they would figure out why it sounded so good, and they couldn't provide an explanation. They said it was exactly like all the others they produce commercially, nothing different or special that they could find, other than the way it sounded.
They are still stumped to this day...
Fuck it.

I've got one of those Super Bawl Whine-O wahs, that thing is capable of some sick shit in addition to the basic wah sounds. My only gripe is that it's very tough to keep the pedal cradle stiff enough to leave it cocked in the middle of the pedal travel, it gets loose easily and flops up to the full treble position.

man, i would had him pegged for cry baby or vox. you can't miss that foot shape pedal! actually jeff or maybe jon lord influenced me to get my SD wah/ring mod pedal. i always thought that sounded cool (used pretty sparingly of course!)
