That is apparently true.

Show is probably almost over as of the time of this post.

The reviews have been very good, and the footage (whats available) really shines, though you have to look past the quality of the recording. Its very cool that they were able to do it and do it well.

A close friend of mine flew over to catch the show he took pix/sound etc. Talked to him after the event and he indicated there was big train wreck in Dazed, also a few rough spots here and there. According to him they got pretty damn lost coming out of the solo in Dazed. That kinda looseness never bothers me like it does others. I'll take a band going for bloody broke and exercising some demons on a guitar etc over note for note, same routine and bland execution.

He said the show overall was one of his faves. He described JP's sound in the arena as thin and bright ala 73-75 (my fave period). I am really curious how it will translate on a SB? Anyways live my friend dug it. He had already seen them in 72,73,75,77.

In live pix appears that one Marshall indicator light is on and one Orange amp light is on. It also appears the middle letters on the Orange amps are blocked out.

Today my friend is heading to Pangbourne (where I have family) and Olympic studios. I was granted access at Olympic last year and it really is a superb layout plus the the Richmond area is really nice, and great for finding small quiet pubs etc.

Cheers,

Eric

Some tunes, like 'Stairway to Heaven', are played a whole step lower. Feels weird hearing them in another key!
