anyone know one who actually knows how to work on these cars?

i have had someone off of south Lamar really do a number on it and after taking it back 3 times and being charged way too much to have run worse than before it got to the shop I'm looking for another mechanic.

its a long story to get into but I'm ready to report this guy to the better business burrow and move on.

its a 350 automatic. ( came stock with a 409... yes 409 that me and my dad replaced years ago )
like i just mentioned, i have worked on cars for years at my dads shop when i was a kid. Here in Austin i just don't have the tools and space and don't really feel like changing a heater core that they broke as well as messing with timing on getting the car to run right.( they overhauled the carb and it runs rich now and like shit) and yer right, its one of the easiest cars to work on.

indeed a chevell it is.

and thanks Jerry but i don't really want to get into whats wrong with the car or if they did this or that. I'm looking for a reference on a good mechanic here in Austin.
