I know, how could I play a fucking Strat?
And just look at my old '73 Marshall in the back ground. It was stolen not long after this.

I think your taste in guitars were better then... If not in clothes !
What is it with you guys and Strats ? Are they too hard to play for you as you get older ?

!
Come on: Strats and Marshalls are a great combo: Hendrix, Beck, Moore, Blackmore, even Yngvie etc., all sound amazing with that combination.
Did you have a traumatic experience ? I got my chest hair caught in the vibrato springs once

, but i still play Strats. With my shirt on !

That's OK, from the shape of the headstock it doesn't look like a "real" Strat but a G & L.
How about a signature "VelvetGeorge" cowprint amp head? Matching Les Paul might be cool.

Don't forget the most "broken in" Strat of all...

I meant the strat comment as tongue in cheek. Sorry. I actually like strats (and more so telecasters) but I think I'm just too lazy to play them well.
That is a G&L in the pic. Great guitar, never goes out of tune.
I should try different PU's in it though. They're pretty sterile.

And my "reply" was tongue in cheek too George... I love LP´s, have two, but my ´64 Strat is the love of my life. They are harder to play, they don´t stay in tune, have´nt got the sustain of a good Paul, but man can a good one sing. The Rory Gallagher Strat in the other post... I want one! It feels just like my Strat, even though it was patterned after a ´61. Alive and the same neckshape. The only Relic i ever liked !
Loved the cow suit, George. If you play long enough, somebody will ask you to dress up: Played in a showband, had to play with plateau heels, in a gold jumpsuit. I´m 6,3´ so it looked really strange, like a golden Hulk lurking in the background. The suit was completely air and watertight, and the sweat could not go anywhere but in the boots... It is possible to sweat in buckets: I know: Emptied my boots into one, and almost filled it. Rock´n roll will get you into some strange situations. and somebody allways have the pictures to prove it.
Sometime, when we know each other better, I will tell you about the time I had an erection that made headline news...
